Canada 55 Plus games will take place in Quebec City towards the end of August, 2024.

The Provincial Summer Games will be held August 17-20, 2023, in Brooks, Alberta. Alberta Zone 2 Qualifiers for those games start March 2023 Qualifiers are posted on the Alta. 55 Plus board. A game has been added called Corn Hole. Culture for Summer Games will be Photography and other crafts such as quilting time to be announced for the first judging and probably at Carstairs.

Qualifiers for the Quebec games will be from the Winter Activities which will take place in late 2023 and early 2024. As no town or city in Alberta has come forward to take on the winter Provincial games several centers will be hosting them. Zone 2 is hosting Curling, Sturling and Badminton in early 2024. Zone 3, Calgary will host Hockey, Alpine Skiing and Cross-Country Skiing. Zone 4, Red Deer and Camrose area will host Duplicate Bridge, Euchre, Floor Curling, Snooker and Culture, Zone 5 St. Albert will host 5 pin bowling and darts. Zone 6 Edmonton will host Scrabble, Pickleball will take place in Lloydminster.

You need to be an Alberta 55 Plus member to participate. Membership for 2023 unfortunately has gone up and now is $40.00
